Progressive Dental Care

Periodontal disease is the number one disease in dogs and cats. Not only is this a painful condition but it also leads to heart, liver or kidney disease. We provide an extensive dental care program. Our clients have become aware of the importance of having their pet’s teeth examined and cleaned on a regular basis. Preventative dental care can add years to the life of a pet.

Hospitalization

We know your pet will feel more at ease with you at home, however, sometimes sick pets need services that can only be performed in the hospital. We strive to keep hospital stays as brief as possible while making sure to attend to your pet’s illness.

While in the hospital your pet will be in our general hospital ward. If there are concerns about contagious disease, he/she will stay in our isolation ward. Cats are kept in comfortable condos and dogs are walked several times a day. A nurse is assigned to monitor the condition of each patient and keep them as comfortable as possible. Your pet’s doctor will call you often to inform you of your pet’s progress. Additionally, the doctor’s and nurses are available to answer questions about your pet and his/her condition at all times.

Grooming

The SAHO Pet Salon and Spa is a step above regular grooming. Your pets are spoiled from start to finish and go home looking and smelling better than ever. We can even help with your pet’s shedding problem with regular Furminator treatments.

Boarding

When your pet stays with us we will do everything we can to ensure a “home away from home” atmosphere. We will pamper your pet with good food, clean and comfortable suites and lots of attention.

Our complete in-house laboratory gives us point-of-care diagnostic abilities when we are treating sick or injured pets and allows us to properly evaluate every surgical case prior to anesthesia.

Digital Ultrasound

Fully digital ultrasound allows high quality, non-invasive imaging of the abdomen and chest. Many diseases can be accurately diagnosed with ultrasound without having to perform invasive surgery.

Digital X-ray

Our digital x-ray unit produces the highest quality radiographs, allowing our doctors to see fine detail and subtle changes. And at the touch of a button, we can send these images to a specialist.

Dedicated Surgical Suite

Our surgery room is a completely sterile environment used only for surgery. It is equipped with the most advanced monitoring and anesthesia equipment ensuring your pet’s safety.

Complete Endoscopy Suite

Our endoscopy unit includes Colonoscopy, Otos¬copy, Bronchoscopy, Arthroscopy, Cystoscopy, Rhinos¬copy and Laparoscopy which allows for less invasive diagnostics and surgery meaning less pain and quicker recovery.

CO2 Laser

The laser replaces the scalpel and decreases pain and bleeding during surgical procedures.
