Dr. Adolph received his D.V.M. degree in 1996 from Oklahoma State University. After a year and a half as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Adolph moved to Southpark Veterinary Hospital as a partner for 4 years and full owner for 13 years. During his time as a practice owner, He developed a special interest in parasitology and practice management. In blending these two areas of focus, Dr. Adolph attended advanced parasitology and practice management continuing education events, became informed of the most current information available, and developed practice protocols based in sound science that were readily accepted by pet owners.
In 2011, Dr. Adolph began a master’s degree program under the guidance of Dr. Susan Little at Oklahoma State University. For the next 2 and a half years, Dr. Adolph simultaneously worked toward his graduate degree while practicing and managing his veterinary hospital full time. While enrolled in the graduate program, Dr. Adolph was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, which recognizes academic excellence in fields of higher education. Dr. Adolph graduated with a master’s degree in 2013.
Dr. Adolph serves on the boards of The American Heartworm Society, The Companion Animal Parasite Council, and the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists Board of Governors and exam committee. He has authored numerous, peer-reviewed scientific papers, textbook chapters, and conducted research in canine and feline parasitic diseases. In 2015, Dr. Adolph passed the parasitology board exams and is now a diplomate of the American College of Vet. Microbiologists.
